We met before college even began. We both attended a Ball State summer bridge program, Excel, which was focused on transitioning high school students to college. Although we met freshman year of college, it wasn't love at first sight. We didn't officially start dating until our junior year of college. Our favorite part of our love story is that we have always supported one another. Rather that be attending Black Student Association meetings or setting up at ChirpFest music festival, we could always depend on the other person to be there. And even today, we know that same principle to be true.
